Release Notes:

Distinguished guitarist, Marty Wilson-Piper has been an integral part of some of
the most influential bands of the past 20 years. Wilson-Piper has played with
The Church, The Saints, All About Eve, and Noctorum as well as releasing his
solo records. His most recent album, Nightjar has been recently released in
the United States by Second Motion Records

Nightjar was produced by Dare Mason and also features The Mood Maidens Tiare
Helberg on vocals. On this release, Marty Wilson-Piper delves into a mature
exploration of love and loss while adding a seasoned take on politics
Nightjar is a showcase for his skills as a guitarist but displays a competent
songwriting talent as well. Album opener, No One There features
Wilson-Piper s signature 12 string guitar chimes throughout this atmospheric
gem. Lullaby for the Lonely and High Down Below are sweet pop songs that
features Tiare on duet vocals

The acoustic country rocker, Feed Your Mind sways and features a supple organ
in the background. While the record treads a lot of ground, Wilson-Piper is not
content to remain in one musical genre. His inclusion of the folk inspired
Song for Victor Jara and I Must Have Fallen indicate much musical growth
from some of his earlier recordings. Nightjar is a strong release and one
that is worthy of some acclaim
