"Wicked" tells the story of the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch of the North when they were just teenagers who met at University. As teenagers they were simply Elphaba Thropp -- a misunderstood green girl out to prove herself -- and Galinda Upland -- a popular and somewhat air-headed blonde -- who were accidentally assigned as roommates. The musical follows their lives as their loathing for each other begins to become a small, but strong friendship that is torn apart by a series of painful decisions and unfortunate incidents.

Wicked is a musical that teaches us about friendship, love, hope, and the power of believing in one's self. It drives home the old cliché; "Do not judge a book by its cover". The strange, misunderstood can offer the world more than anyone could ever imagine and the bubbly blonde is often smarter than she leads you to believe. No one is who they seem in Wicked and the musical takes us on a journey of truth, challenges, and growth.
