Martina McBride [born Martina Mariea Schiff, July 29th 1966 in Sharon, Kansas] is an American Grammy nominated country music singer-songwriter.

'Waking Up Laughing' is the ninth album from country singer Martina McBride. It marks the first time in her career she has co-written songs and produced an album solo. Keith Urban plays guitar and lends harmony vocals on the track 'Tryin' To Find A Reason'. The three songs Martina co-wrote are the lead single, 'Anyway', the second single 'How I Feel', and the song 'Beautiful Again'. The album sold 139,000 copies in its first week, debuting at No.4 on the Billboard 200.
